•Friday, June 10th, 2011 @ 8:15pm         •Saturday, June 11th, 2011 @ 8:15pm

Since its beginning in 1938, the Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo has grown to be one of the premier rodeos in the country. At the 2008 PRCA convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo was selected as one of the top 5 medium outdoor rodeos in the nation. Also in April of 2008 The Gladewater Round Up Rodeo Committee was inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame. This is a great achievement, and I would like to congratulate all of the dedicated volunteers that make up our committee.
Our 74th rodeo will be held in our eight year old state of the art rodeo facility. This much improved facility is an example of the pride and commitment that is shown by our volunteers.
The directors of the Round-Up Association strive to provide rodeo fans with the finest contract personnel that professional rodeo has to offer. This year will be no exception, with 10-time PRCA announcer of the year, Randy Corley back for his 21st year. Besides his duties as stock contractor, 8-time world champion bull rider Don Gay will again be providing his colorful commentary on horseback. Keith Isley, 2009 Clown of the year, 2009 Coors Man in the Can, and 2009 Comedy Act of the Year will be here this year as clown/barrel man with his many funny acts along with bull fighter Cory Wall. For his second appearance in Gladewater, we are honored to have Clay Collins as a bullfighter that has worked the NFR the last three years.
Come and enjoy the best professional rodeo has to offer at the original East Texas rodeo, the Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo. (courtesy www.gladewaterrodeo.com)
