The Inn was built in 1986 with the look, the charm, and feel of a 1930's vintage home while having all the qualities of a new structure. For your safety, the Inn was built to fire code and there is insulation between all guest rooms for privacy.

Rose Room

On this site once stood the home of Dr. Irwin Pope, the son of one of Tyler’s first doctors. Although the original house burned down, Rosevine Inn Guest House was built to replicate a 1930's style home while being designed to accommodate guests. The site was chosen because of the beautiful, spacious grounds as well as its convenience to the city’s attractions.  

Rosevine Inn offers five rooms including one suite.  The guest rooms are cheerfully decorated with antiques and wallpaper and each room has a private bath. All rooms have television, telephones, and wireless Internet. Two rooms have a queen-size bed, one has a high back antique double bed and one has two, 3/4 size beds.

Sherlock Holmes Suite

Rosevine Inn also includes a restored 1934 cottage which features the Sherlock Holmes Suite. It is, of course decorated in the old English style. (If you are a sleuth, perhaps you will find the hidden door to receive a gift.) The quaint bedroom has a plush, queen-size, high-back bed with a corner fireplace. 

The suite also has a living area with another gas fireplace, an armoire with TV/VCR stereo/CD player, private telephone, and a dining room. The ample bathroom has a deep tub just right for relaxing.  We are also now providing Wireless Internet for your convenience. A small courtyard with a stone fireplace even has a built-in smoker if you want to cook a steak!

The Barn offers yet another living space for all our guests. You might choose to relax in front of the fireplace, play cards or board games, or even challenge the innkeeper to a game of pool. Plan to spend some time in the rustic atmosphere of our barn.
