Dewberry Plantation
The Dewberry Plantation is open for visitors interested in one of the
most historic locations in all of East Texas. Colonel John Dewberry
(1794-1897) came to Texas in 1835 after serving in the War of 1812 and
quickly established himself as one of the most influential men in the
forward development of this section of the Pineywoods.
