There's a shift that happens in East Texas come September, and we're so ready. The days are still warm enough to fog up your sunglasses the second you step outside, but the evenings start carrying just a hint of something cooler underneath all that humidity, a promise that fall really is coming, even if it's taking its sweet time. The crepe myrtles are still putting on their last big show, the smokers are still working overtime, and somewhere across town a fiddle is tuning up for one more outdoor concert before the season changes. Pull up a rocking chair here on the Rosevine Inn porch, pour yourself something cold, and let us walk you through everything September has in store.
Treasure Hunting and Trading Days
September kicks off big with First Monday in Canton, running September 3 to 6. This is

And on September 29, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., Boston Brass joins the UT Tyler Bands for an evening blending classical formality with boisterous, playful energy, drawing on their newest album, Blues for Sam.
