Inn Amenities
Built in 1986, it was the worst of times, but then became the best of times when the Inn opened. Rosevine Inn was built to have the feel of a 1930's vintage home while having all the qualities of a new structure. For your safety, the Inn was built to fire code and there is insulation between all guest rooms for privacy. On the site once stood the home of Dr. Irwin Pope, the son of one Tyler's first physicians. The site was chosen because of the beautiful spacious grounds, as well as it's convenience to the city's attractions.
By March of 1987, guests flocked to enjoy Rosevine Inn and the city of Tyler. It was, and still is, a short and affordable trip away from home for a night or two or three day mini vacation. Many people in Tyler have even found the Inn as a great getaway!
As the bed and breakfast prospered many amenities were added including a barn/lodge style game room, outdoor hot tub, New Orleans style courtyard complete with fountain and fireplace - a great gathering venue for guests to solve the world's problems! As time went by, all the quaint homes on the private street adjoining the Rosevine Inn were acquired for extended stay and expansion purposes.
Some of the amenities offered by Rosevine Inn Bed and Breakfast and Extended Stay Suites are outdoor hot tub, luxury robes, wireless internet, private baths, TV & radio in every room, and welcome cookies upon arrival... Please enjoy the game room which includes pool table, board games, an area to relax around a fabulous stone fireplace. There are also many outdoor games to enjoy, including badmitton, volleyball, ping pong, croquet and lots more! We have a massage room on the property. We would be happy to help you with booking a massage during your stay. We also offer a Sweetheart package which includes roses, chocolates, and a bottle of "bubbly" for only $50. Don't forget, if you are coming to the area because you are moving here, Bert can help you with any of real estate needs. He can assist you with buying and selling property, rental properties, or extended stay lodging. His number is 903-216-6366. Call and he will be there for you.
PLEASE NOTE - Tyler is located in dry county. You cannot purchase alcoholic beverages at a store, but can be purchased in a restaurant with your meal. There is one Texas wine outlet in town, but this is the only exception. If you would like to enjoy a bottle of wine or such, you will need to plan to bring it with you, as it is not for sale in this county!!
