October has arrived with cooler temperatures and so many activities-this will be a little longer blog than the last few-we can try to consolidate a little!!
Lets start with

The Pumpkin Patch Express runs from the Rusk Depot during the 
October. Children (ages 2-12) can pick up their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, visit Trick or Treat Street, and enjoy a hayride, games, music and more! Kids should wear your costumes! A food vendor will be available at the pumpkin patch. Fun times for you and the kids!!
Ok so the next big thing this month is The Texas Rose Festival
It is October 13-16, 2016 and there are tons of activities and fun. Click here

2016 Fall New Home Tour Oct. 14-16, 21-23
Everyone enjoys looking at new homes and ideas. The showcase of new houses by the area’s leading builders The properties will be on view Oct. 14 to 16 and Oct. 21 to 23. Tour times are: 3 to 8 p.m. on the Fridays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on the Sundays.
